Setting up ADSL Router (For NEPAL)

ADSL, Asymmetric digital subscriber line is a type of digital subscriber line (DSL) technology, a data communications technology that enables faster data transmission over copper telephone lines than a conventional voiceband modem can provide. (more details)

And this is the only service provided by the Nepal Telecom. Many of the PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) user use it for their personal or official use. But I found many of them always get difficulty in setting up the router. So after the huge request of mine friends and relatives today I'm going to show the easiest way to set up ADSL router. Hope it works for all Brands or if this is not same as your's router setting please leave a comment below with your router's brand and its model no. and I try to figure out the problem. :)

Okay then lets start over here :)

1. At first you must goto router's homepage by providing the address 192.168.1.1 and provide your username and password (Default username and password are admin Or you can see it in router manual book or just back side of router)

2. For TPLINK Router goto Interface Setup, Digicom router goto Network > WAN
           (Or there is a quick start or setup or something like this option, you just click this and proceed)


3. Following are the parameters you should set;
            VPI : 8
            VCI : 81
            encapsulation : PPPOE/LLC 
            Authentication : Auto
            Username : Provided by NTC
            Password : Provided by NTC
            Enable NAPT
            Enable IGMP
